Struggling with cancer for a long time, Iranian actor Hossein Moheb-Ahari has passed away in Tehran’s Laleh Hospital.
The hospital authorities say he died on Wednesday because of the recurrence of lymph node cancer.
Born in 1951, Tehran, Moheb-Ahari was an actor of Iran’s cinema, theatre and television.
He started theatrical photography from 1971 and got his Bachelor of Arts in Persian Literature in 1979.
Moheb-Ahari was a journalist at Islamic Republic of Iran’s news agency in the 80s.
He began his acting career with a minor role in Pouran Derakhshandeh’s ‘Relationship’.
Then he continued with acting in several films, including ‘Cargo’, ‘The Magical Journey’, ‘Two Films with One Ticket’, 'Pickpockets Don’t Go to Heaven', ‘Spouse’, and ‘I Like the Earth’.
ifilm TV channel has aired some of his movies and series including, ‘Spaghetti in 8 Minutes’, ‘Avicenna’, ‘Huge Problems 1&2’, 'Tabriz in Fog', and ‘The Fateful Day’.
